Download the App

Get SpiritPay on your iPhone or iPad.

SpiritPay is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. The app is free to download and requires iOS 16 or later.

iPad is recommended for concession stand use β€” the larger screen makes it easy for volunteers to ring up sales quickly. iPhone works great as a backup or for mobile selling.

Create Your Stripe Account

Your funds go directly to your Stripe account β€” we never hold your money.

Stripe is one of the largest and most trusted payment processors in the world, used by companies like Amazon, Shopify, and Lyft. Spirit Pay connects to Stripe so your organization can accept card payments securely.

Your organization gets its own Stripe account (called a "Connected Account" under our platform). This means funds from card sales go directly into your Stripe account and pay out to your bank β€” we never hold your money.

Self-Service

Create your own Stripe account at stripe.com. It's free and takes about 15 minutes. You'll need your organization's EIN, a bank account, and a government-issued ID for verification.

Get Your Card Reader

The Stripe M2 reader accepts tap, chip, and swipe β€” wirelessly.

SpiritPay uses the Stripe M2 Bluetooth card reader to accept in-person payments. It connects wirelessly to your iPhone or iPad and supports tap (Apple Pay, Google Pay), chip, and swipe.

Organization Website

Stripe requires a public website β€” we can build one for you.

As part of business verification, Stripe requires a public website that describes your organization β€” who you are, what you do, and how people can contact you. It doesn't need to be complex.

Great β€” just provide the URL during Stripe account setup. Make sure it includes your org name, a brief description, and contact information.

Go Live!

You're set up β€” time to start selling.

Once your app is installed, Stripe is connected, your reader is paired, and your menu is loaded β€” you're ready to go. Open an event, hand the iPad to your volunteers, and watch the sales roll in.

Spirit Pay is designed to be picked up by anyone in about 5 minutes. Your volunteers don't need training materials or tech experience β€” the interface guides them through every sale.

Adding Volunteers (BYOD)

Spirit Pay supports Bring Your Own Device β€” your volunteers can use their own iPhones or iPads to sell on behalf of your organization.
