Stripe Account Issues

Questions about payouts, deposits, disputes, or your Stripe account are handled directly by Stripe. Visit support.stripe.com or log in to your Stripe Dashboard for payout details and transaction history.

How do I connect my Stripe account?
During onboarding, tap "Set Up Stripe" and follow the prompts. You'll be guided through creating or connecting an existing Stripe account directly in the app. If you already have Stripe, choose "I have Stripe" to link it.
How do I add items to my menu?
Go to Settings β†’ Menu Editor. Tap the + button to add a new item. You can set a name, price, and category. Changes sync to all volunteers in your organization immediately.
Why can't my volunteers log in?
Make sure you've sent them an invite code or QR code from your admin Settings β†’ Invite Volunteers. They need to sign in with the same Apple or Google account they use on their device, then enter the invite code.
The card reader won't connect β€” what do I do?
Make sure Bluetooth is on and the M2 reader is charged (solid green light). In the app, tap "Search for Readers." If it times out, try: (1) toggle Bluetooth off/on, (2) hold the reader's button until it blinks to reset, (3) move within 10 feet with no obstructions.
How does the service fee work?
SpiritPay adds a 5% + $0.05 service fee to each transaction, charged to the customer at checkout. Your organization receives 100% of the item price β€” nothing is deducted from your payout.
How do I view my sales reports?
In the app, go to Settings β†’ Reports. You can also see live transaction data and payouts at any time in your Stripe Dashboard at dashboard.stripe.com.
What iOS version does SpiritPay require?
SpiritPay requires iOS 16 or later. It runs on iPhone and iPad.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Inside the app, go to Settings β†’ Report an Issue. You can also email us directly at support@townspirit.org.
